Care Instructions

• Light: Place your Amaryllis bulb in a bright location with indirect sunlight. A windowsill with filtered light or a well-lit spot on a table is ideal. Rotate the bulb occasionally to encourage straight growth.

• Temperature: Amaryllis bulbs thrive in temperatures between 60°F and 75°F (16°C-24°C). Avoid placing them near cold drafts, heat vents, or direct air from fans. 

• Watering: No watering is needed! The wax-sealed bulb contains all the moisture and nutrients it requires to bloom.

• Growth and Bloom: The bulb will begin to sprout within a few weeks. Stalks grow quickly, followed by large, colorful flowers that bloom for several weeks. Blooms typically appear 4-8 weeks after sprouting.

• Support: As the flower stalk grows taller, it may need support to prevent it from tipping over. Use a decorative stake if necessary.

• Post-Bloom Care: Once the flowers fade, the bulb’s energy will shift back into dormancy. Unfortunately, wax-sealed bulbs are not designed to regrow. However, they can be composted, and the wax can be repurposed for crafts.
