Potted Muscari, also known as grape hyacinths, are a cheerful burst of spring in miniature form. Care Instructions

Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy while the plant is actively growing and blooming. Allow the top inch of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the bulbs sit in water.

Temperature: Prefers cooler indoor temperatures, ideally between 50–65°F (10–18°C). These bulbs naturally bloom in early spring, so avoid hot spots.

Humidity: Muscari don’t require high humidity. Keep them in a well-ventilated space to prevent mildew.

Soil: Use a well-draining, loamy soil. A standard indoor potting mix with added sand or perlite works well.

Fertilization: These bulbs typically don’t need much feeding. If desired, use a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength once during the growing season.

Post-Bloom Care: After blooming, allow the foliage to die back naturally to nourish the bulb. You can either plant the bulb in your garden for future blooms or compost it once the leaves yellow and dry.
