    Potted Lavender plants bring a calming beauty and soft fragrance to your home or garden. With their silvery foliage and delicate purple blooms, they’re as lovely to look at as they are soothing to the senses. Whether placed on a sunny windowsill or a patio table, these compact plants add a touch of Provence charm to any space.

    Care Instructions

    Light: Lavender loves the sun! Place your potted lavender in a bright, sunny spot where it will receive 6–8 hours of direct sunlight each day. Outdoors is ideal in warmer months.

    Watering: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Water deeply when the top inch of soil feels dry, but avoid overwatering—lavender doesn’t like wet feet.

    Temperature: Lavender thrives in warm, dry conditions. Ideal indoor temperatures are 65–75°F (18–24°C). Keep away from cold drafts or overly humid rooms.

    Humidity: Prefers low to moderate humidity. Good air circulation helps prevent mildew and fungal issues.

    Soil: Use well-draining, sandy or loamy soil. A cactus or Mediterranean blend works well. Avoid heavy, moisture-retaining mixes.

    Fertilization: Feed sparingly. Use a low-nitrogen fertilizer or compost once in early spring to support healthy growth and blooming.

    Pruning: Lightly prune after the first bloom to encourage fullness and a second round of flowers. Trim back more in late summer or early fall to maintain shape.

    Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when the plant outgrows its container. Choose a slightly larger pot with good drainage holes.

    Pests and Diseases: Lavender is generally pest-resistant but may occasionally attract spider mites or aphids. Treat with insecticidal soap if needed. Avoid excess moisture to prevent root rot.

    Decorating Tip: Place potted lavender near your entryway, kitchen window, or bedside table for a calming scent and natural beauty throughout your day.

We are open 7 Days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We deliver to all areas within Montreal and Laval (and further with additional fees).

Typical delivery rates are between $13.96 and $24.95 with some exceptions. All orders over $150 receive free delivery*.

Recipients will receive delivery updates via text or email.

In the case that the recipient is not available during delivery, the driver may leave the flowers at the door or have it brought back to the shop, unless otherwise requested.

Our flowers are always securely packaged with a water source. However, in temperatures below freezing, we cannot leave flowers at the door.

Failed deliveries will be sent back to our shop and available for pickup.

Yes! We can accommodate same-day deliveries up to 11:00pm EST.

At Mtl Flower Co, we depend on weekly seasonal availability from our many unique growers and suppliers. All our bouquets and arrangements are custom created just for your order and will include only our freshest blooms and florage.

At our studio, we receive fresh flowers almost daily and follow a meticulous care routine to ensure they last as long as possible. Every bloom has a unique vase life, ranging from 5 days to over 2 weeks, and proper care at home plays a big role in keeping them fresh.

To prolong the life of your fresh-cut flowers, be sure to:

  • Change the water regularly
  • Trim the stems at an angle
  • Keep them away from direct sunlight
  • Avoid placing them near heat or cold drafts

All our fresh-cut flowers are thoughtfully packaged with flower food to help you enjoy their beauty to the fullest.

If you feel your flowers didn’t arrive fresh, please contact us at sales@mtlflowerco.ca within 48 hours of receiving your bouquet/arrangement. Be sure to include photos and a brief explanation of the issue so we can assist you promptly.
